In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
The Islamic Cultural Community Aschaffenburg e.V. , founded in 2002 and officially registered at the Aschaffenburg District Court under number VR 12/59 , is planning the construction of the largest mosque in the city of Aschaffenburg.
The Muslim community is steadily growing, and the current facilities are no longer sufficient to meet religious, social, and cultural needs . Therefore, a new building is urgently required.
The new mosque aims to become an open center for faith, knowledge, and community —a place for prayer, education, spiritual development , and intercultural dialogue . In addition to religious activities, it will provide space for awareness, social support , and encounters .
This will create a place that strengthens understanding, community , and peaceful coexistence —in the spirit of mercy, respect , and mutual appreciation .

Why We Are Completing This Project
The growing Muslim community in Aschaffenburg needs a larger center as the lease for the current mosque ends. A modern mosque will serve as a place of identity and a bridge to society . It will be built on a 1,280 m² plot over four floors with a total construction area of 2,756 m² .

Current Project Costs
The total cost for the construction of the Othman Mosque is 3.8 million euros . Thanks to generous donations from our members and supporters in Germany, the Islamic Cultural Community in Aschaffenburg has already acquired the land for 250,000 € and begun initial construction, including the underground garage .
Now, the community faces the next big challenge: covering the remaining construction costs to complete this important project. Every contribution—through donations, networking, or sharing our cause—brings us closer to this goal.
